Major Injury Crash at Westside and Washington Boulevards
LIVINGSTON, Calif. (Oct. 17, 2023) — At least two people were injured in a Livingston car accident at Westside Boulevard and Washington Boulevard.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 4:43 a.m. on Oct. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Ford and a Toyota pickup truck were involved. One person became trapped in a vehicle after the crash. Paramedics responded and located at least one person with major injuries and requested an air ambulance.
The helicopter was scheduled to land in Joseph Gallo Park to transport one critically injured person to a trauma center in the area. A second person was taken by ground ambulance to the Memorial Hospital emergency room.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation to determine fault.
