SAN DIEGO, California — Per NBC News San Diego, three are dead following a devastating fatal crash at the intersection of Massachusetts and Lemon Grove avenues.
One from the deceased was identified by the coroners as Lizbeth Soto.
The collision which took place at roughly 4:00 p.m. involved an SUV and a black Acura.
Authorities responded to the scene and disclosed that the Acura and the SUV had collided head-on.
Five total were inside the Acura including a 7, 13, and an 18-year-old Soto all who tragically did not survive the wrath of the collision.
A fourth occupant and victim inside, a 4-year-old child was also hurt and hospitalized
NBC News San Diego was also able to confirm that two dogs were inside one of the vehicles were also killed as a result of the crash.
Authorities continue to conduct an investigation as liability remains unclear at this time.
