Multi-Vehicle Llano Crash on State Route Highway 138
LLANO, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2020) — At least one person was hurt Friday in a multi-vehicle Llano crash on Highway 138 (SR-138).
The collision was reported at 4:54 a.m. on Oct. 30th at 233rd Street, according to the California Highway Patrol. A white Chevrolet pickup truck and a black car were blocking the highway’s No. 1 lane. There three other motorists involved, but no specific details in the CHP report.

Police temporarily closed down the highway in both directions after the crash. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded with an ambulance to the Llano crash scene to help at least one person with an injury. It’s unknown if the person was taken to a hospital or just treated at the scene. Also, the CHP report doesn’t state what led up to the multi-vehicle crash.
Later, three tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles. Finally, the vehicles were removed and the roadway reopened to traffic by 7 a.m. Witnesses are asked to contact the CHP and reference incident 00415.
Liability for the collision is under investigation by police.
