LLANO (April 6, 2017)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a head-on crash took place Thursday afternoon on Highway 18 also referred to as Pearblossom Highway.
Per CHP officials, the collision took place just before 3:00 p.m. at 2:59 p.m. involving up to three vehicles.
A black Dodge Durango, a Honda sedan, and possibly a third vehicle.
The Dodge Durango rolled over following the crash leaving a woman inside with moderate to serious injuries needing to be extricated by firefighter personnel.
There were reports of a least one other driver being injured likely from the Honda.
An emergency helicopter was called upon to land at the scene to fly and transported at least one of the injured victims to the nearest hospital due to the location of the crash being in a sparsely populated area.
No further details were released as the sequence of events leading up to the collision and the trigger of the crash remain under investigation.
