At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Angeles Crest Highway Friday
Llano, CA (January 4, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route 2 on December 31, Friday.
Initial records indicated two vehicles collided on SR-2, also known as Angeles Crest Highway. The accident took place in the area near mile marker 2.
Shortly after 4:36 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics reportedly found at least one person with injuries. At this time, the name of the victim and the extent of their injuries remained unknown.

The CHP log mentioned one motorist involved in the wreck fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives continue to work to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation is ongoing on the car crash on State Route 2 in Llano.
