2 Killed, 1 Hurt in Collision Near Avenue M Monday
Antelope Valley, CA (October 19, 2021) – 40-year-old Llinas Gonzalo suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred on 240th Street East on October 18, Monday.
The Antelope Valley Times News reported Llinas Gonzalo, of Miramar, Florida, was driving a Ford F-350 truck heading north on 240th Street East. In the area near Avenue M, the pickup truck collided into a wrong-way vehicle.
Officials said a southbound 2009 Honda Civic veered into the opposite lanes for an unknown reason. The two drivers attempted to avoid head-on collision, but the Honda hit the rear of the Ford.
Llinas Gonzalo, 40, Hospitalized After Car Crash in Antelope Valley
According to the article published online, Llinas Gonzalo suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. Responding paramedics rushed the patient to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger of the Honda both sadly died in the accident. The names of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
