Minor Injury Bicycle Accident
LODI, Calif. (Sept. 5, 2023) — A Lodi bicycle accident happened Tuesday morning on East Harney Lane, just east of North Furrey Road.
The collision occurred around 6:13 a.m. on Sept. 5th in front of 5940 East Harney Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
A driver in an older-model Lexus sedan struck the bicyclist due to unknown circumstances, the report said. The rider was traveling on Harney Lane at the time of the collision.
Paramedics responded to help the injured bicycle rider, but it’s unknown if the person was taken to a hospital. The CHP report stated the injuries were considered minor.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and cooperated with police at the scene.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the bicycle accident on Harney Lane.
