
3-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway at Highway 12
LODI, Calif. (Feb. 2, 2024) — A chain-reaction car accident in Lodi happened Friday morning on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the Highway 12 off ramp.
The 3-vehicle crash occurred at around 6:19 a.m. on Feb. 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white Ford pickup truck rear-ended a Toyota Corolla and the car crashed into the back of a big rig truck. It happened in the exit lane for Highway 12.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person injured in the crash, but there were no serious injuries reported.
Also, a tow truck removed the Toyota from the roadway due to damage.
Investigators are working on the case and will assign liability for the Lodi accident on the 5 Freeway.
