1 Seriously Injured in Lodi Crash at Thornton and Devries Roads
LODI, CA (December 18, 2020) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Thornton and Devries roads in Lodi.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred late Friday night. Officers reported the incident at about 11:10 p.m.
The report said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason at the intersection of Thornton and Devries roads. CHP described the cars as a Jeep SUV and a Dodge Ram pickup truck.
Car Collision Near Kingdon Airpark Airport
Fire department officials along with the paramedics then responded to the scene. They attended to one individual who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the wounded party to the hospital for treatment. CHP did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the road to shut down following the wreck which took place near the Kingdon Airpark Airport. Authorities are still determining the cause of the crash.
