2-Vehicle Car Accident on Highway 99 (SR-99) in Lodi
LODI, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2022) — A two-vehicle crash happened Tuesday morning on the northbound State Route 99 also known as Highway 99 in Lodi .
The collision occurred about 6:14 a.m. on Oct. 25th, just south of Armstrong Road, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch. A woman driving a green Toyota Highlander stopped on the shoulder, but her SUV was partially blocking the slow lane with no lights on. An oncoming silver Pontiac Firebird reportedly crashed into the Highlander. Upon impact, the Highlander crashed into a ditch.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash. They treated at least one person for minor injuries, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
