Passenger Killed in Lodi Crash at Locust Tree and Kettleman Saturday
LODI (July 8, 2019) – A passenger was killed after a traffic collision in the area of Locust Tree Road and Kettleman Lane Saturday night, July 6.
Police said a Kia was traveling north on Locust Tree Road towards Kettleman Lane when at the same time a Ford was going eastbound on Kettleman.
The operator of the Kia was allegedly not paying attention to the road and ran the stop sign. The vehicle ultimately struck the side of the Ford.

According to an article published by CBS Sacramento, the tragic accident took place at around 7:20 p.m. near Highway 88 as both cars entered the intersection.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found the front seat passenger of the Ford suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash.
The patient was then immediately transported to the hospital where the victim was later pronounced dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if the drivers of the two vehicles involved were injured upon impact. The incident remains under investigation.
