2 Killed After Car Crash on Highway 99 Friday
LODI, Ca (August 2, 2019) – Two people died following a solo-car crash on Highway 99 Friday morning, according to CBS News.
Primary reports indicated a 1970 Chevy Nova, occupied by two parties, was traveling south on the highway. At approximately 7:20 p.m., the vehicle drifted off the west side of the road for unknown reasons.
The Chevy continued driving off the highway and ended up crashing into a light pole. The vehicle only came to a rest after it slammed into a tree.
Double Fatal Car Accident in Lodi, August 2
Our sources indicated both the female driver, and the 63-year-old male passenger suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. The identities of the deceased remained undisclosed pending notification of next of kin.
At this time, the California Highway Patrol group continue to investigate the deadly collision.
