At Least 1 Killed in Collision on Highway 12 Friday
Lodi, CA (April 2, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 12 on April 1.
Initial records indicated a small sedan collided with a big rig in the westbound side of SR-12 in Lodi. Officials mentioned the horrible crash took place near Peatland Road.
According to the CHP dispatch, the big rig T-boned the sedan. The force from the impact caused damage to the truck, which later spilled oil.

Responding emergency crews found at least one person unconscious. Despite life-saving measures, the victim, sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly crash on Highway 12 in Lodi.
