1 Seriously Injured in Lodi Crash Near Highway 88 and East Kettleman Lane
LODI, CA (May 16, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash near Highway 88 and East Kettleman Lane in Lodi.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:19 p.m. near Lockeford.
A white pickup truck and an SUV collided head-on for an unknown reason in Lodi. The two crashed near the intersection of Highway 88 and East Kettleman Lane.
2 Cars Collide Head-On Near Lockeford
CHP said the cars involved obtained major front-end and side damage due to the impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Chevron gas station.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 88 and Kettleman to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Lodi crash.
