Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Lodi Crash on North Devries Road
LODI, CA (June 8, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Devries Road near Highway 12 in Lodi.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred late Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:19 p.m.
According to CHP, a truck and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in the city of Lodi. The two crashed at 14751 North Devries Road.
Motorcycle vs Truck Collision Near Highway 12
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 12. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a portion of Devries Road to shut down following the collision. They did not mention if the operator of the truck ended up hurt or if they stopped after the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Lodi crash.
