Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Lodi Crash Near Lower Sacramento and Armstrong
LODI, CA (September 17, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash at Lower Sacramento Road and Armstrong Road in Lodi.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday night. Officers reported the incident at about 8:46 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Lodi. The driver hit the person near the intersection of Lower Sacramento and East Armstrong roads.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Armstrong area. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced Lower Sacramento and Armstrong roads to close for a time following the crash.
The cause of the Lodi pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
