Motorcyclist Injured in Traffic Collision on Highway 101 Friday
Loleta, CA (May 1, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle rider occurred on April 30, Friday, on U.S. Route 101.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle of unknown make and model struck the motorcyclist in the southbound side of Redwood (101) Highway. The force from the impact caused the rider to slam into the center divider near the Loleta Drive offramp.
Medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after 4:30 p.m. Our sources confirmed the male motorcycle rider sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned the other motorist apparently fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
