LOMA LINDA, California (January 5, 2016) — Steven Ortiz, 33, of Loma Linda was killed Monday afternoon when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle at the intersection of Bryn Mawr Avenue and George Street, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The fatal bicycle accident was reported at 12:07 p.m. Paramedics transported the injured man to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he later died at 12:35 p.m. the same day.
The crash is under investigation by the Major Accident Investigation Team at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
