Child Hit by Car on West Pine Avenue is Killed in Lompoc
LOMPOC, Calif. (Oct. 13, 2020) — A 7-year-old boy died Monday night when he was struck by a vehicle on West Pine Avenue in Lompoc.
The Lompoc Police Department reported the crash took place at 7 p.m.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the crash scene in the 100 block of West Pine Avenue.
The child was critically injured and transported by paramedics to the Lompoc Valley Medical Center. Unfortunately, the boy later died of his injuries following the crash.
Meanwhile, the driver stopped and cooperated with the police investigation. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
