1 Seriously Injured in Lompoc Crash on Santa Rosa Road Near Winery

LOMPOC, CA (October 9, 2021) – At least one was seriously after a car crash on Santa Rosa Road in the Lompoc area.

The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:39 p.m.

According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lompoc. They crashed at 5010 Santa Rosa Road near a winery.

2 Cars Collide

The incident log described the cars as a white BMW 330CI and a gold colored SUV. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.

Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.

The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Santa Rosa Road to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the Lompoc crash is still under investigation.
