LOMPOC, California (August 17, 2016) – Three men were injured and taken to the hospital following a truck collision on Highway 1 near Santa Rosa Road, according to an article by Noozhawk.
The accident occurred on August 17, Wednesday at around 1:00 p.m.
In detail, the article mentioned a box truck driven by Juan Rivera, 56, of Lancaster, was headed northbound before swerving into southbound lanes directly into the path of two semis.
The first semi was driven by Fred Williams, 61, of Santa maria, was sideswiped by the box truck which then careened head-on into the second semi driven by Anthony Williams, 33.
All three vehicles ended up coming to rest on the right-hand shoulder of southbound Highway 1.
All three men were injured to an unknown degree and taken to hospitals for their injuries.
At this time, California Highway Patrol officials do not believe alcohol to have been a contributing factor in the collision.
