Pedestrian Injured in Lompoc Crash at Jalama Beach County Park
LOMPOC, CA (September 16, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash at the Jalama Beach County Park in Lompoc.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Thursday evening. Officers reported the incident at about 6:44 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle hit the juvenile pedestrian for an unknown reason in Lompoc. The driver struck the child at the Jalama Beach County Park located along Jalama Beach Road.

Reports indicated that the victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. A private car took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the condition of the wounded party at this time. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the juvenile.
Officers forced a vicinity of the Jalama Beach County Park to close for a time following the collision. The cause of the Lompoc pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
