Child Hit and Injured by Vehicle on West North Avenue Sunday
Lompoc, CA (July 18, 2021) – A juvenile suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on West North Avenue Sunday, the Noozhawk News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck a child in the 300 block of West North Avenue. At this time, the make and model of the car involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Pedestrian Airlifted to Hospital After Accident in Lompoc, July 18
Shortly after 8:45 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian. After the evaluation, a Calstar medical helicopter landed near the accident scene. The air ambulance transported the seriously injured child to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Meanwhile, details on the driver involved in the collision remained undisclosed.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident in Lompoc.
