Baby in Stroller Injured in Hit-and-Run at Long Beach Boulevard and 67th Street
LONG BEACH, CA (June 10, 2021) – A baby in a stroller was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash at Long Beach Boulevard and 67th Street.
According to The Press Telegram and NBC Los Angeles, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the collision at about 11:29 a.m.
The incident happened when a woman was pushing her 7-month-old baby boy in a stroller through the crosswalk in Long Beach. For an unknown reason, a vehicle struck the stroller.
Police said the driver hit the stroller at the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and 67th Street. The motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and then fled the area.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child wounded in the roadway as a result of the collision. His mother ended up unharmed after the accident.
Medical personnel rushed the infant to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. They soon listed him in stable condition.
Meanwhile, police described the car involved as early-1990s model white Ford Explorer. Officials forced Long Beach Boulevard from Artesia Boulevard to 68th Street to close following the crash.
