At Least 2 Injured in Crash on Long Beach Boulevard

December 27, 2018 – A traffic collision involving a big rig occurred Wednesday evening on Long Beach Boulevard, according to a local news source.

Primary reports indicated a big rig and an SUV collided, for unknown reasons, on the northbound Long Beach Boulevard exit from the northbound Interstate 710 Freeway.
Shortly after 11:51 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the location and found two occupants in the SUV injured. Officials said one of the victim had to be extricated using the jaws of life before being taken to an area hospital.
Meanwhile, the operator of the rig appeared to be unharmed in the accident.
The precise circumstances that led to the accident are still being investigated.
