LONG BEACH, Calif.. (June 7, 2018) — The drivers of a white Honda Accord and a big rig truck collided Thursday morning on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway at N. Lakewood Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 8:42 a.m. and left the driver in the Honda injured. Paramedics with the Long Beach Fire Department were called to the scene to help the injured person.
Police are heading up an investigation into the collision.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Police are investigating this collision and will determine fault. At this time, we do not know who is responsible, nor how serious the injuries were to the person in the Honda. There are certainly many unanswered questions that will eventually be detailed in the police report.
