5 Injured in Long Beach Crash Near 7th Street and Pepper Tree Lane
LONG BEACH, CA (June 1, 2023) – Several were injured after a crash near 7th Street and Pepper Tree Lane in Long Beach.
According to the Long Beach Post and My News LA, the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on June 1 at about 5:15 p.m.
Long Beach Fire Department said five vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. The cars crashed near the intersection of East 7th Street and Pepper Tree Lane.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
One of the vehicles involved rolled over due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of five people hurt.
Paramedics then rushed three victims to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Medical personnel provided aid to the other two patients at the site.
The reports did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of 7th Street and Pepper Tree to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Long Beach crash is still under investigation.
