2 Killed in Long Beach Crash at Atlantic Avenue and Atlantic Place
LONG BEACH, CA (May 7, 2022) – Two were injured after a car crash at Atlantic Avenue and Atlantic Place in Long Beach.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place late Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:50 a.m.
Long Beach police said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. They crashed on Atlantic Avenue at the intersection with Atlantic Place.
2 Cars Collide
One of the cars involved rolled over due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a man hurt inside the overturned vehicle.
They soon took him to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel provided aid to the woman driving the other car for a minor injury she sustained in the wreck.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced Atlantic Avenue to shut down at Atlantic Place following the incident.
