3 Injured in Long Beach Crash on Santa Fe Avenue Friday
LONG BEACH, CA (May 7, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash on Santa Fe Avenue in West Long Beach.
According to an article published by the Long Beach Post, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 4:41 p.m.
The incident happened on May 6 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Long Beach. They crashed in the 3200 block of Santa Fe Avenue.
2 Cars Collide
The fire department said one of the cars involved rolled over due to the impact of the collision. A vehicle caught fire in the process.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of three people ended up hurt as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel then took all three patients to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Santa Fe Avenue to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Long Beach crash is still under investigation.
