
LONG BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 10, 2023) — A two-vehicle Long Beach crash happened Friday on the eastbound Artesia 91 Freeway, just west of Downey Avenue.
The rear-end collision occurred about 8:03 a.m. on Feb. 10th in the HOV and No. 1 lane of the freeway, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
The driver of a gray Toyota RAV4 SUV reportedly crashed into the back of a gray Chevrolet pickup truck due to unknown circumstances. It’s unknown at this time if any other motorists were involved in the accident.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics to the scene to help anyone hurt in the Long Beach crash on the Artesia 91 Freeway. CHP officials did not mention if there were occupants in the two vehicles other than the drivers.
Meanwhile, tow trucks came to remove the two vehicles from State Route 91.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the collision.
