1 Killed in Traffic Collision on 405 Freeway Tuesday
Long Beach, CA (July 20, 2021) – A fatal car crash occurred on Interstate 405 Freeway Tuesday evening, the CBS Los Angeles reported.
Authorities said two vehicles collided in the southbound side of the freeway near Lakewood Boulevard. The force from the impact caused one car to slam against the center divider. When emergency teams arrived at the site, they found the car overturned and engulfed in flames.
Meanwhile, details on the other automobile involved in the collision have not been discussed thus far.
Fatal Car Crash in Long Beach, July 20
Emergency crews and firefighter personnel responded to the incident at about 8:30 p.m. Officials said one person sadly died as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the car crash in Long Beach have not been revealed thus far. Further investigation on the case is underway.
