Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man on South Street
Long Beach, CA (September 1, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on South Street early Thursday morning.
According to My News LA, a vehicle struck a male party in the 3300 block of South Street in Long Beach. Earlier reports indicated the horrible crash took place at approximately 12:40 a.m.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Long Beach
Emergency crews later responded and found a man lying on the ground. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately performed life-saving measures to the victim. The article published online confirmed the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Our sources mentioned the pedestrian was walking outside of a crosswalk when the collision happened.
Detectives stayed at the site a couple of hours after the crash. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine liability in the deadly accident that happened on South Street in Long Beach.
