Woman, 22, Killed in Long Beach Hit-and-Run on Second Street
LONG BEACH (October 28, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident along Second Street early Sunday, according to The Orange County Register and KTLA.
The collision was reported at about 1:30 a.m. in the 5500 block of East 2nd Street, near Tivoli Drive.
As per the reports, police said a 22-year-old Anaheim woman was walking on the center median of the road when for an unknown reason she fell into the number one lane of eastbound 2nd Street. She was then struck by a vehicle.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found the pedestrian suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash. She was then rushed to an area hospital, where she later died.

The name of the deceased victim has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved stopped before hitting the woman but fled after the tragic incident. The suspect car was described as a white Ford F-150 pickup with a silver toolbox in the bed, and possibly a company logo on the driver-side door.
