Juveniles Hurt After Traffic Collision on San Diego Freeway Saturday
Long Beach, CA (December 7, 2021) – One or more juveniles suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Interstate 405 on December 4.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a gray Nissan Rogue was abandoned along the highway following a traffic collision. Initial records indicated the Nissan collided with another vehicle in the southbound side of I-405, also known as San Diego Freeway. The crash took near near the Wilmington Avenue offramp.
CHP logged the case at about 10:34 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found juveniles partially trapped in the wreckage. Officials said the minors complained of pain to their head after the crash. The force from the impact possibly resulted in injuries to the occupants of the Nissan, authorities mentioned. The names of the victims, and their condition at this time have not been discussed thus far.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned the second car involved in the accident fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening to investigate several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash on Interstate 405 in Long Beach.
