Lyft Driver May be Involved in Motorcycle Crash
LONG BEACH, California (Oct. 12, 2017) – A motorcyclist was injured Thursday morning when the rider collided with a car on the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported to CHP officers about 6:03 a.m. by a woman who said she was in a Lyft vehicle. this morning. The report does not specify whether or not that Lyft vehicle was the same one that struck the rider.
The crash took place in the HOV lanes near Long Beach Boulevard. The rider went down in the HOV lane and the bike and the involved Nissan Altima were blocking the lane.
The Long Beach Fire Department responded to help those who were injured in the collision and police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
