LONG BEACH, California (October 6, 2016) — A motorcyclist collided with a semi-tractor trailer truck Thursday morning on the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway at the Orange Avenue off ramp, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 10:08 a.m. this morning. The Long Beach Fire Department was dispatched to the scene with police officers and a SigAlert was issued for the Nos. 2, 3 and 4 lanes. The roadway was blocked due to the crash for at least an hour. There was a total of three vehicles involved in the crash, but there was no further details provided.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
