Long Beach Multi-Vehicle Collision 710 Freeway, Florence Avenue

BELL GARDENS, Calif. (August 21, 2026) – A collision involving multiple vehicles happened early Friday morning on the Long Beach 710 Freeway, just north of Florence Avenue in the Bell Gardens area.

The collision occurred around 2:02 a.m. on August 21 and resulted in the closure of all southbound lanes, but traffic reopened around 3:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol report.

Paramedics responded and transported one person with injuries to a local hospital, CHP officials reported.

Fortunately, there were no fatalities reported following the accident.

The investigation into the cause of the 710 Freeway crash is ongoing.
