LONG BEACH, California (December 8, 2016) — A multi-vehicle injury collision was reported Thursday morning on the southbound Interstate 605 Freeway at the Katella Avenue on ramp, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash involved an overturned Jeep, a Lexus, a black Honda CRV and two other vehicles. The CHP was alerted to the crash about 6:18 a.m. Police issued a SigAlert for the HOV and Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes. Paramedics were summoned to the scene to help those who were hurt, but the report does not indicate whether anyone was transported to a hospital.
