LONB BEACH (February 2, 2017)- According to CBS Los Angeles, a deadly hit-and-run resulted in a man’s death Thursday morning at the Anaheim Street off-ramp.
California Highway Patrol officials received notification of the incident which took place somewhere around 4:00 a.m.
The victim who is only being identified as a male transient had been pushing a shopping cart before being struck by an undisclosed vehicle.
Police officials were able to immediately confirm the man dead upon their arrival.
No information has been provided on the suspect or the type of vehicle involved as the off-ramp to Anaheim Street from the 710 was shut down for approximately 4 hours.
