Skateboarder Critically Hurt in Hit-and-Run at Bellflower and 27th Street
LONG BEACH (November 27, 2018) – A skateboarder was critically injured after an alleged hit-and-run crash in the area of Bellflower Boulevard and 27th Street Tuesday afternoon, according to The Press Telegram.
The accident took place at approximately 1:45 p.m. near the Interstate 405 Freeway.
As per the article, police said a man was riding his skateboard east across North Bellflower Boulevard at East 27th Street when he was struck by a vehicle.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider lying in the roadway with life-threatening injuries.

The man was then immediately transported to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition. His name was not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled.
