Multi-Vehicle Crash on Gerald Desmond Bridge
LONG BEACH, Calif. (July 13, 2023) — A multi-vehicle Long Beach truck accident happened on the southbound Interstate 710 Freeway on the Gerald Desmond Bridge.
The collision occurred around 5:56 a.m. on July 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported two semi-trucks, a blue Ford F-250 pickup truck and a sedan were involved in the wreck. The report stated “multiple parties were down in lanes.” One of the trucks suffered major front-end damage in the crash.
Paramedics with the Long Beach Fire Department responded to help the injured, but there are no further details.
Tow trucks removed at least two of the vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Long Beach accident on the 710 Freeway.
