LOOMIS, California (May 24, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a major injury collision took place on Horseshoe Bar Road Tuesday evening.
The crash involving a blue Ford Fusion, a green Miata and a silver colored sedan occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m.
As per the incident log, Placer Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and requested for four ambulances to attend to the parties involved. Although the dispatch did not specify the total number of injured people in the accident, CHP confirmed that at least one person was seriously hurt and was then taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The road was forced to be closed for about an hour, as authorities continued to investigate the cause of the collision.
