Semi-Truck Runs Over Tent at State Street, Favretto Avenue
REDDING, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2022) – Lori Rasmussen, 57, of Redding, died Saturday night when a semi-truck backed up onto her tent near State Street and Favretto Avenue in Redding.
The truck reportedly was backing up on State Street when the back trailer ran over the Redding woman who was inside a tent that was south of the road.
The deadly accident occurred about 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19th, according to Action News Now.
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office identified Lori Rasmussen as the woman who died.
Investigators with the Redding police Department are looking into the circumstances.
Authorities do not suspect drugs and alcohol are a factor in the collision.
The fatal accident remains under investigation.
