Pedestrian Struck, Killed in Collision in Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (June 1, 2022) – Lori Susan Allen, 62, of Seal Beach, died in a pedestrian accident involving a sport-utility vehicle on Bolsa Chica Street in Huntington Beach.
The victim was identified by the Orange County coroner’s office.
Police reported the collision happened at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31st just north of Argosy Avenue, police said.
A driver in a 2019 Toyota Highlander reportedly struck the woman. The SUV was traveling southbound on Bolsa Chica Street when it struck Lori Susan Allen in the roadway. The pedestrian was reportedly walking outside of a crosswalk, police said.
Both the driver and a passenger in the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Investigators say that drugs and or alcohol did not factor into the collision.
