2-Vehicle Head-on Crash on Highway 101
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (June 14, 2024) — A head-on car accident happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 101, just north of Alisos Canyon Road in Los Alamos.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the northbound lanes at around 4:34 p.m. on June 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a black Nissan Altima sedan crossed from the southbound side of Highway 101 into northbound traffic lanes. The car collided head-on with a black Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck.
One of the vehicles apparently overturned and both had major front-end damage from the accident.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person injured in the traffic accident, but there are no further details at this time.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the car accident on Highway 101 in Los Alamos.
