2 Seriously Injured in Los Alamos Crash on Highway 101 at Cat Canyon Road

LOS ALAMOS, CA (July 25, 2021) – Two were seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 101 near Los Alamos.

According to an article published by the Noozhawk News, the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 9 a.m.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason near the Los Alamos community. The two crashed on Highway 101 at Cat Canyon Road.

2 Vehicles Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They then found two people from each car hurt as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel took them to the Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria for treatment of moderate injuries. Officials did not release the names and condition of the wounded parties at this time.

Officers forced the area of Highway 101 and Cat Canyon Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Los Alamos crash is still under investigation.
