LOS ANGELES, California (October 6, 2016) — One person was hospitalized Thursday morning after two motorists collided in a rollover crash the 1000 block of West Sunset Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash took place about 8 a.m. this morning near Custer Avenue in the Echo Park neighborhood. One of the vehicles overturned. Paramedics with the LAFD responded to help the injured. They transported one person with injuries to a hospital, but the condition of the person was not disclosed.
Los Angeles County Accidents
There were 585 people killed and 50,917 injured in 2013 traffic accidents in Los Angeles County, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide integrated Traffic Report. In the city of Los Angeles, there were 235 deaths and 24,789 injured that year including 46 motorcyclists killed and 1,714 of them injured, the CHP statistics report said.
