Woman Critical After Car Crash at Harbor Gateway Neighborhood Saturday
LOS ANGELES, Ca (June 29, 2019) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic collision in the area of Normandie Avenue and 223rd Street Saturday, according to KTLA News.
Primary reports indicated a LAFD ambulance heading north on Normandie collided with a car traveling west on 223rd. Investigators later determined the ambulance had the green light when the crash happened in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood.
Responding medics found a woman trapped in the car. Firefighters immediately extricated the female driver, who apparently sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. The name of the patient, and their condition at this time remained unknown.

Authorities added multiple emergency personnel in the ambulance also sustained minor injuries after the collision.
