Los Angeles, CA (July 11, 2021) – Two people suffered serious injuries following a car crash that occurred on Western Avenue Sunday afternoon.

According to My News LA, multiple vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Vermont Square community of South Los Angeles. The force from the impact caused at least one car to burst into flames.

First responders found the vehicle fully engulfed. At this time, the make and model of the car that got burned in the crash remained undisclosed.

Shortly after 1:05 p.m., emergency crews arrived in the 5131 block of S. Western Avenue. Firefighters at the scene briefly extricated at least two occupants from the fiery wreckage.
