Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle on West 39th Street Sunday
Los Angeles, CA (October 3, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred earl Sunday on West 39th Street.
According to My News LA, a vehicle struck a female party in the streets of South Los Angeles. Preliminary investigation revealed the horrible crash took place in the 1500 block of West 39th Street.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 2:43 a.m.

Responding medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the female pedestrian found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, the woman succumbed to her injuries and died. Police continue to withhold the name of the deceased pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, authorities confirmed the driver involved in the accident fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the identity and location of the suspect in the deadly hit-and-run crash on West 39th Street.
